The owners of this home on the Surfcoast of Victoria were looking to rationalise, renovate and extend their existing residence to create connection to the northern adjoining nature reserve.

The brief was to provide flow of movement throughout the house with opportunities to display their extensive ceramic art collection, along with zoning for their teenage children to have a space for themselves.

Inserting a continuous curved hallway with display boxes set into the wall and clerestory windows above, draws you into and through the house revealing collected artworks along the way and opening to light-filled views onto the reserve.
